The 1st of July already and here we are, over half way into the year, where on Earth has the time gone? I’ve been meaning to send this email for about 5/6 weeks now but time has just slipped away!
So, firstly, back in May I asked you to kindly vote for me in the Herts&Beds Muddy Stiletto Awards. Thank you to all that voted, sadly I didn’t get through to the finals, I think i’m just a too smaller fish in a big ocean at the moment but I am grateful to whom nominated me in the first place. These awards are a funny thing as I’m not convinced it’s a completely fair way to win an award. It’s all based on a voting system, how many people you can get to vote for you. There’s no actual judging or visiting of a business by anyone, so I feel its more a popularity contest and those with a bigger database have more of an advantage over much smaller businesses. Later on I found out that I was informed one day later than the rest of the nominations in both my groups! but Hey-Ho!, despite a slight disadvantage I feel proud that HBH got as far as it did, so thank you all!
As of 1st August 2019 I will no longer be accepting card payments under £20. I wanted to make payment as easy as possible for you all but sadly the fees I have to pay to the card reader company (paypal) are becoming higher which has become pretty consuming on my part.
In the Autumn/Winter I will be looking at training in some new treatments. Eyelash extensions is one I get asked for a lot so hopefully I can offer this in time for the December parties. I would really like your feedback, are there any treatments you are interested in and would like to see at the hub? HD Brows?, Derma rolling/skin needling? glycolic facial peels? BB glow facials? Feel free to google these to find out what they entail. Personally think BB glow facial looks awesome, so that could be a contender!
Only a few weeks until the school holidays and the busy period is well under way so I urge you to get your appointments booked in asap to make sure you get the times and days that you want and are not left disappointed for your holiday. I will be away from Friday 30th August – Sat 7th Sept. I will also be available for morning appointments from 8am between Tues 27th-Thurs 29th August.
